A multimedia, multifunctional platform for the audio visual production channel at Fox International Channels.

Challenge

The requirements of a project that supports the digital activity of a channel like Fox are multiple and challenging on many levels. Not only achieving the standards of perfection expected of a global brand like Fox but also the concurrence and scalability needed to serve a very large audience. In addition, much of the content is audio visual, which led us to develop a sophisticated, lightweight video player with multiple functionalities. The platform serves peripheral systems, such as set top boxes and mobiles applications through an API designed for this purpose. Thanks to Symfony and a robust and comprehensive systems design, we were able to successfully build a global platform on which Fox could implement its’ digital operations.
